Project overview
Fablefaine is a rural location agency connecting brands, photographers, filmmakers, and retreat hosts with some of Britain’s most characterful countryside settings. From centuries-old barns and manor houses to woodland clearings and walled gardens, each location is chosen for its distinct character and deep-rooted story. The copy needed to speak to both sides of its audience—those listing historic properties, and those looking to hire them.
-
Working closely with the two founders, I was responsible for shaping the brand voice and writing all copy across the Fablefaine website. This included developing the strapline “connecting creatives to the spirit of place”, crafting the website copy, as well as some location listings. I spoke directly with property owners and custodians, allowing me to bring personal stories and historical context to life.
-
I carefully balanced atmospheric language with practical detail, highlighting what each space offers, what’s creatively possible there, and how it can support a brand’s vision.
In addition, I created names for the blog and newsletter and wrote long-form editorial content to draw out the stories behind the spaces.
“Working with Aimée has been such a gift. She has an extraordinary way of balancing evocative, atmospheric language with the practical details we need. In describing our spaces, she managed to capture not just what they offer, but also the creative possibilities they hold and how they can support a brand’s vision.
She also brought her talent for storytelling to naming our blog and newsletter, and to writing long-form editorial pieces that reveal the deeper stories behind the spaces.
Her words have given Fablefaine a richness and coherence that feel completely aligned with who we are. I’m so grateful for the care and imagination she poured into this work.”
